Braman Winery Portfolio Wins Big at Lone Star International Wine Competition

Six Braman Brand wines place in the oldest wine event in the state of Texas

RICHMOND, TX– Braman Winery today announced their winners from the 31st Annual Lone Star International Wine Competition (LSIWC). The event hosted by the Texas Wine and Grape Growers Association was held at the Grapevine Convention Center on June 2-3, 2014. More than 500 wines were judged in 30 plus categories by a panel of restaurant owners, sommeliers, chefs, media and other wine experts from Texas, California and New Mexico.

The LSIWC is comprised of three competitions in one: Texas, International and Limited Production. Braman’s standout winner was the 2010 Joseph Braman Merlot. In the Limited Production competition the varietal won the Gold medal and was recognized with the Grand Star Award as well as Best in Varietal. The 2012 Joseph Braman Pinot Grigio also placed in the Limited Production competition with the Silver medal.

Silver – 2010 Eaglefire Reserve Meritage

Bronze – 2010 Eaglefire Meritage, Terry County

Bronze – 2013 Eaglefire Blanc du Bois, Austin County

Bronze – 2013 Eaglefire Muscat Blanc, Palacios Vineyards

Recently Braman Wineries entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with the second largest beverage alcohol distributor of premium wine and spirits in the U.S., Republic National Distribution Company (RNDC). The partnership significantly enhances the winery’s expanding route to consumers throughout the Texas market.

With multiple locations and more than 20 varietals, the Texas winery boasts several established brands. High-End Wine Portfolio in New Distribution Partnership

RICHMOND, TX – Braman Winery today announced entrance into an exclusive distribution agreement with the second largest beverage alcohol distributor of premium wine and spirits in the U.S., Republic National Distribution Company (RNDC), effective June 1, 2014. The partnership significantly enhances the winery’s expanding route to consumers throughout the Texas market.

In addition to increased distribution opportunities, Braman Winery will benefit from RNDC’s industry-leading sales and excellent planning and execution capabilities as the company continues expansion in Texas and beyond.
